Kenmare Bay deep sea Angling
Deep Sea Angling
Sneem, Ring of Kerry
Fishing in Sneem means fishing in the beautiful surroundings of the Kenmare Bay. This fishing area is unique in many ways. The Bay lays in the warm gulfstream and is surrounded by the colourful mountains of the counties Kerry and Cork. Every year Sneem surprises everyone with the most spectacular catches. A skate of over 2 meters long, a 65 pound tope, it can all happen in the Kenmare Bay.
The Kenmare Bay is the home of more than 80 different species. Among these are
skate
conger eel
blue shark
trigger fish
all dogfish species
(e.g. greater spotted dogfish, spur dogfish)
pollack
ling
